To celebrate the current Lions Clubs Centenary year 11 clubs in the District joined forces to finance equipment for the new Sensory Room at the N & N University Hospital - Jenny Lind - Buxton Ward. The cost of the specialist equipment came to £8,750 and provides for children and teenagers from the ages of 0-19, while they undergo treatment during their stay at the NNUH.
Great Yarmouth Lions Club contributed £500 towards the project. Picture shows Gt Yarmouth President Elect, Lyn Thomas-East at the recent presentation along with Lions representatives from the remaining sponsoring Clubs.
