Great Yarmouth Lions club are pleased to announce that Elliot Clarke, Young Ambassador for Great Yarmouth is also Young Ambassador for EA105
EA have found a first class Young Ambassador to compete in the MD Finals which take place over the weekend of 25th-27th February at the Village Hotel Dudley. Elliot Clarke is 17, a student from Great Yarmouth (and is sponsored by the Great Yarmouth Lions Club), he is involved with many youth programmes in Norfolk for which last year he was awarded the Princess Diana certificate of excellence award.
The youth forums that Elliot gets involved with include discussions on mental health issues concerning young people, the Your welcome to it project aims to improve many services currently offered to young people. He is a member of a service users group where he has trained as a peer educator and an NHS " Your welcome Assessor " has fronted a number of conferences and is a member of the Street Theatre Group. He was recently involved in a national CAMHS conference where with four other young people he delivered a workshop to NHS professionals detailing the work of the " Your Welcome young people assessors" This piece of work has received national recognition as a model of good practise for young people's involvement in influencing service delivery. So you can see that young Elliot has an impressive CV for a 17 year old, we have great hopes for him at the MD Finals.
