Beirut Disaster

Great Yarmouth Lions Club have made a £200 donation to the disaster relief following a major explosion in Beirut on Tuesday, August 4 has killed at least 135 people, with many more people injured.

The blast took place in Beirut’s port and was reportedly caused by the unsafe storage of ammonium nitrate. Severe damage was caused all over the city.

Buildings were ripped apart, thousands have been injured and at least 135 are dead as a result.

The Lions Club of Beirut are actively providing support on the ground.
